Friday - Chapleau to Rouyn-Noranda

Wow its Friday! Time is going by quickly as our trip is starting to wind down. This morning we were treated to another home cooked meal by Dick and Cathy of blueberry pancakes (I think we have had our filled of berries).

 We continue along 101 towards Quebec border with a stop in Timmims at a Tim Hortons for lunch.  Having our first Timmies coffee in a week was yummie. This part of the drive was uneventful we found the road a bit boring to see.   We made our way thru Quebec customs with little trouble before getting to Rouyn-Noranda for the night.

We enjoyed supper with friends who made the drive up to see us.  It was great sitting down chatting enjoying a good meal.  After they left we took a walk along the waterfront before grabbing another coffee at Tim Hortons.

As in every trip, you plan for a long time hoping everything goes right and before you know it your trip is over.  One thing you will alway have is the memories that you can cherish forever.
